Who We Are - DGS-Italy

The DGS was set up at the beginning of the 90's as an association of freelance in the sector of the footwear and  leather industry in general.
Thanks to its members' professionalism and skill the DGS has seen the constant growth of the sectors of demands of the offered services and the countries they are addressed to.
Their long experience has allowed the selection of suppliers and companies to collaborate with on the basis of reliability, quality and price.

Up to now we are active in the following sectors:

• spare parts and overhauled second-hand machinery for tanning industry;
  

• refurbished machinery for footwear and insole factories and leathergoods;
  

• accessories and material for shoe production;
  

• leather for footwear and leather goods;
  

• waste water treatment - we act for SC Costruzioni Meccaniche in Empoli (machinery) and DeltAcque (technology).
  

We have skilled and qualified staff in different activities:

• selection and inspection of leather (enrolled in the Register of valuers and experts in Vicenza);
  

• inspection and revision of second-hand machinery (technicians coming from the best-known manufacturing companies);
  

• tanning and industrial waste water processing.
  

The usual countries we have been working with from the very beginning, besides Italy, are Russia and ex-USSR (Belorussia, Ukraine, etc.).
More recently Spain.

For more than 20 years our task has been that of looking after and helping customers in the working in their factories, making ourselves responsible for the solution to their problems.
